Smarthought - Smarthphone Learnings !!

With evolution of Internet, everything around is turning out to be 'Smart' devices. The first of its device which became popular is a 'Smartphone'.  Smartphone is a good analogy to understand how can organisation must be led. Sounds weird right ? Here are my thoughts on how Smartphones are great analogy : 


 Let's dive into individual topics and compare them to the smartphone : 

Efficiency

Yes, organization are like smartphones, and people in organization are like Apps. The organization efficiency is dependent on the processor of the smartphone, when more apps are installed on phone, more space of RAM is utilized and thus slowing down the phone. Therefore, it is important for organization to first know it's RAM capacity and accordingly install the apps. 

Training


Any app on our smartphone needs an update to fix a bug or improve the efficiency of the App, so are employees. Nobody is perfect and we all too have a bug within ourselves, therefore we all need training and updates to stay updated.
The battery draining capacity is different for different apps and each app needs an update for some days of use. Each employees too need a certain training or up-gradation to stay updated.
 
Functionality / Department :


Each app is like a department or function of the organization, there are some pre-installed apps which are compulsory in a smartphone like camera, Google, Mail, Playstore, Music, Calendar, Clock. These are like standard departments like Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality, Logistics, Service etc. Then we have apps like Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp which are a necessity in today's time and these are like Business Development department, Ext. Purchasing. There are other apps which are installed for better usage of smartphones and so are some tag along depts. But again, installing more apps would only slow down the RAM and therefore, it's compulsory to know the RAM capacity before installing more departments.

Camera


Rear camera allows one to look into external world and selfies are reflection of ourselves.

Each app installed is for a particular use and so are employees. Their task and purpose are different but towards a common organization goal.

Again these are "My Thoughts" and would like to hear and learn from "Your Thoughts".
