Competition to be the best starts from the day we step into this world. We are expected to be the best, but not taught how to be and after all people don't understand the pyramid structure. There can be only one end point / one person at the top and everyone, expects their child to be the best !  Thus starts the pressure !  It isn't surprising that the education system still continues to evaluate a student based on the Marks scored. Thus the first lesson the student learns,  " Result matters, not efforts ". But we all never know the hard work the student has put in and also the "मार" he/ she has undergone.  Am using the analogy of मार in this context to explain the pain the child goes through internally and in some cases externally as well, where they are being pressurized.
